It doesn't matter if you are brand new to working out or a seasoned athlete.
Our club's mission is to promote running and racewalking, for competition and fitness, to anyone who wants to participate. Our club members are active in regional and national USATF organizations and events. Members also encourage people of all ages to participate in the sport.
Because running and racewalking are U.S. Track and Field events with competitors attempting to set time records in various distances and age groups or college and open competitors working to qualify for national and international competition- race organization, promotion, and participation is crucial. In addition to working to improve their own fitness level or competition performance, club members also get involved at whatever level they can to support run and racewalk competitions.
Sometimes members choose to help at youth, college, masters, and open competitions by serving as lap counters, recording split times, manning the water station, or other volunteer efforts. Many members also compete in local, regional, or national events to strengthen the sport of running and racewalking, ensuring these events continue to be held.
